We want you to be a happy customer. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it right.
Here’s how our return process works.
The Basics
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition
- Refunds are issued for the product cost only (original shipping is non-refundable)
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless an item was shipped in error or arrives damaged. In those cases, we’ll cover the return shipping and make it right.
After 30 Days
- We get it—projects take time. Returns requested after 30 days may be accepted at our discretion and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Non Returnable Items
Some things just can’t come back.
- Custom orders and orders over $2,000 are not eligible for return without prior approval. Please contact us before returning the material.
- All sales are final on clearance or discontinued items.
- Opened or used materials.
- Gift Certificates
- Books
Color & Material Variation
Many of our materials—especially smalti and handmade tile—naturally vary in color, size, and texture.
- Colors may look different in person than they do on your screen
- Tiles can vary slightly from batch to batch
- Variation is normal and part of the material.
These variations are not considered defects.
Returns based on color, shade, or variation are not the result of an error on our part, and return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend ordering samples before placing larger orders. You can order samples here.
It’s the best way to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want—and to avoid unnecessary returns.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If something arrives damaged or we sent the wrong item, don’t worry—we’ll take care of it.
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Include photos so we can see what happened.
Once we review it, we’ll work with you to make it right—whether that means a replacement or a refund.
